On God’s Work. Our Hands. Sunday, September 7, Salem Lutheran Church in Marion gathered during the Sunday School hour to work. We completed 60 School Kits for Lutheran World Relief. Backpacks were filled with food for weekend meals for needy children at Marion Elementary School. There are four churches in Marion, together we provide enough weekend food for those students in need. When this work was completed, we planned for our first free dinner to be offered to those in need in our community. We are planning to provide a meal once a month.
