2024 Wellness Retreat

We recognize the invaluable contributions our rostered ministers make to our faith communities, and we are delighted to offer a wellness retreat focusing on our spiritual wellbeing and burnout prevention. Amid the challenges and demands of ministry, we invite you to focus on your own spiritual nourishment and emotional wellbeing. This retreat will include a keynote presentation from Allie Kochert, licensed counselor and spiritual director, so you recharge, rejuvenate, and cultivate strategies for preventing burnout while deepening your connection with Jesus. In addition, ELCA Vice President Imran Siddiqui will be joining us as well!

Returning to The Hotel Hershey, an Historic Hotel of America with refined elegance, signature service, and abundant amenities, you are invited to relax, restore, and nourish your Spirit with a retreat specifically designed to foster your spiritual, physical and emotional well-being.  Day and overnight options are available.

For those able to enjoy an overnight stay, check-in on Sunday evening, January 28, anytime after 4:00 p.m. to sleep in world-class guest rooms. Dinner is on your own, two on-site restaurants are guaranteed to be open: The Harvest and the Circular Dining Room. Enjoy the hotel’s complementary amenities, including their pool and fitness room.

On January 29, all are invited to join us for a breakfast buffet in the Fountain Lobby. 8:30 a.m. yoga is offered in the Hotel’s fitness studio. Morning devotions, worship, fellowship time, and retreat options will be made available to you, or you are welcome to enjoy the Hotel’s complementary amenities (indoor pool is open 7:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m. daily) or luxury spa services. Please note that the Spa is currently booking months in advance. Please contact the Spa now directly at 717-520-5888 to arrange for your luxury treatments.
