Epiphany Youth Community Auction – Something for Everyone!
As their trip to Houston’s National Youth Gathering fast approaches, the members of Epiphany Lutheran Church youth group and their families are hosting a fundraiser to support their trip.
On Sunday, March 18 from 5 pm to 8 pm, the youth group will hold a silent auction, accompanied by a soup sale and chili cook-off.
Soups are made from scratch by members of the congregation and will be available for take-out by the quart. Among the varieties are chicken corn, tomato basil, minestrone, and others. Attendees will have the opportunity to sample a wide variety of made-from-scratch chili, and these will also be available for take-out by the pint.
The main event for the evening is the silent auction. Bids can be placed on a great selection of items. Themed baskets for children through adults offer something for everyone, including a gardener’s basket, an Easter basket, kitchen and food baskets, and many more. Other items include beautiful jewelry, gift cards to local businesses, and tickets to local attractions. Soccer fans will not want to miss the rare opportunity to bid on a soccer jersey signed by Christian Pulisic. One lucky bidder will enjoy a personally prepared barbecue dinner for eight people! Auction items are in all price ranges, so everyone can find a way to support this event.
