This year’s Day of Dialogue will focus on how Christians can respond to political and theological division in society. The day will feature speakers from the three LARC traditions who will each discuss a different aspect of the day’s topic:

  • “Ecumenism’s Promise for this Moment in our World” – Dr. Maria Erling, Professor of Modern Church History and Global Mission, United Lutheran Seminary
  • “Approaching Adversaries with Love: Reshaping Debate to Achieve Wisdom not Wins” – Mr. Eric Failing, Executive Director of the Pennsylvania Catholic Conference
  • “Toward a Pastoral Theological Phenomenology of Christian Unity” – The Very Rev. Dr. Amy Doyle Welin, Dean of St. Stephen’s Episcopal Cathedral, Harrisburg.

The day will also include prayer according to the three LARC traditions, lunch together, a panel discussion, as well as time for dialogue and discussion.
