Position:  Organist, Director of Vocal and Bell Choirs (Part-Time)
Description: The purpose of the Organist and Choir Director is to oversee the traditional music ministries of the church in cooperation with the pastor. The music leader will organize adult choir, bell choirs, and special music as needed and warranted to engage and inspire Christian faith beliefs through
music. We are looking for someone to partner with us in this role. The Organist and Choir Director with also work with our Praise Team leader and other staff members to support the congregation.

Allegheny Evangelical Lutheran Church is a vibrant congregation searching for a dynamic, experienced, professional to serve in this position. Key areas of focus include preparing/performing worship music, and leading/organizing voice and bell choirs. On occasion, this person also organizes special music events, facilitates fund raising and schedules special musicians including, but not limited to the AELC Recorder Choir. This person must also organize and inspire a strong group of existing volunteers while activating new music interest and talent.

Position: Organist (part-time)
Description:  We are seeking an Organist to join our staff at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Lebanon PA.  If you have a genuine calling and passion for music ministry, we would like to learn more about you.

The Organist serves as the primary keyboard musician for our one traditional Sunday morning worship service and accompany any music needed at the Boost Sunday school service once a month, as well as special services such as Christmas, Holy Week, Easter and two music Sunday programs. The Organist also provides accompaniment for our senior and youth Choir rehearsals and concerts, and has first right of refusal to play for weddings and funerals.

Our sanctuary houses a 67 stop, 3 manual Wicks pipe organ, which has been regularly maintained and updated.  The sanctuary also has 2 possible upright pianos to use for Sunday worship. Luther’s place utilizes a Mason & Hamlin baby grand that is regularly serviced and tuned.

The qualified candidate will be proficient in organ and piano accompaniment, excellent sight reading skills, and knowledge of sacred organ literature and the liturgical calendar. A bachelor’s or master’s degree in music/organ performance from an accredited college or university is preferred but not required. A successful background check is required prior to hire.

This is a part-time (approximately 8 hours per week), non-exempt, salaried position. Compensation will be determined based on experience and qualifications.

Description: Candidate will have primary responsibilities to develop in person and online ministry opportunities  for persons of all ages.    The candidate will have a solid Christian faith with appropriate educational background; strong relational abilities with both young people and adults; the skill to work within a team and be a team leader; and the flexibility of scheduling to be available to work days, nights, and weekends.  The position is for 20 hours per week on a salary basis of approximately $20,000 per year.
