The Choir Director at St. Luke Lutheran Church will perform all duties/functions relevant to the choir music program. This is a 9 month position with summers off.


  • Plan/implement all aspects of the music for the choir in the liturgical services.
  • Conduct the Sunday choir
  • Encourage members to recruit new members.
  • Handle organizational matters.
  • Plan music, procure sufficient music copies as needed for choir.
  • Conduct rehearsals, or arrange for substitute when unable to be present.

Job Type: Part-time (approximately 6-9 hours per week)

Salary:  approximately $8000-8500 per year depending upon experience.
