What is The Harvest Festival & what can we expect if we come?
The Harvest Festival is a one-day event that combines community with fun, worship, live music and food, in the picturesque setting of Camp Nawakwa. This year the event happens on the final day of our annual Middle-School Event, ALiVE. Participants at The Harvest Festival do NOT have to attend ALiVE, but families that may be driving to pick-up their children from ALiVE are welcome to stay for The Harvest Festival. Affordable, and designed to appeal to all ages, the event includes some of the following:

  • Worship with Holy Communion
  • A full picnic-style meal
  • Labyrinth walks, hiking, and leisurely trail wandering around camp
  • Games for all ages, including but not limited to Volleyball, Ultimate Frisbee, Softball
  • Pumpkin painting
  • Live music provided by local youth and young adult artists
  • A team scavenger hunt with prizes

Schedule of Events:
11:00 AM Outdoor Worship
12:30 PM Picnic Lunch
1:15 PM Hiking, pumpkin painting, games and activities
Featuring live music, a campfire with s’mores, and a team scavenger hunt with prizes
