Position: Program Director
LAMPa is seeking applications for a full-time program director in its Harrisburg-area office. The program director is responsible for the coordination and communication of the Lutheran Advocacy Ministry in Pennsylvania (LAMPa) statewide action network, working with the seven synods and Lutheran ministries throughout Pennsylvania, as well as ELCA Churchwide partners, particularly World Hunger. The primary objective is to educate and resource the Lutheran community in Pennsylvania to be a public church as we work to alleviate poverty and hunger. In so doing, the program director will focus on engaging disciples, particularly youth and young adults. We have a Moeller Pipe Organ, which was rebuilt by Zimmer in 1993 and enlarged to 17 ranks; it was also re-voiced by Dobson in 2013. We offer two liturgical worship services on Sunday; one at 8:00 am and one at 10:30 am.
