This year at Synod Assembly we fed the hungry with Fill The Truck to Feed the Children. Working with the Central PA Food Bank, you provided nourishing food for children who rely on free or reduced-priced school breakfasts, lunches and weekend BackPack Programs. Lower Susquehanna Lutherans rocked their Pentecost and Reformation red footwear to  “knock the socks off hunger” at our Synod Assembly this year. “Hauled” into Relationship

On April 11, 2017, rostered ministers from across our synod gathered in the Chapel of the Abiding Presence at  Gettysburg Seminary for the annual Renewal of Vows and Chrism Eucharist. This year’s worship also featured a Rite of Welcome to the new unified Word and Service roster. Bishop Jim Dunlop preached on being “hauled” into relationship. [Read more…]
