ELCA LOGOThe Evangelical Lutheran Church in America
The ELCA churchwide organization, working collaboratively with congregations, synods, agencies and institutions and other partners will give priority to:

  • Accompanying congregations as growing centers for evangelical mission; and
  • Building capacity for evangelical witness and service in the world to alleviate poverty and to work for justice and peace.

To this end, the churchwide organization continues to play a significant and pivotal role in the life of this church by working with its local and global mission partners to build, support and extend the mission of this church.

ELCA Foundation
lizAs you contemplate your past — and look to the future — you may want to show your gratitude for all that the church has done for you. But you might not know where to begin. The ELCA Foundation stands ready to assist you, your congregation, synod or other ELCA organization. The ELCA Foundation offers expertise, as well as resources, financial education and investment and endowment management services to help you make major or planned gifts to an ELCA ministry that has meant so much to you. We can accompany you as you joyfully answer the call to live as faithful stewards — and continue your distinct story by making gifts that help change the world, near and far. (Pictured is our Regional Gift Planner, Pastor Elizabeth Polanzke)

Contact Pastor Polanzke at 717-654-2334 or Elizabeth.Polanzke@elca.org. She is available to meet with individuals, rostered leaders, congregation councils and stewardship teams, and congregations.

The Lutheran Camping Corporation of Central Pennsylvania
LCCLogoFBThe Lutheran Camping Corporation of Central Pennsylvania operates three facilities within the Lower Susquehanna Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. These facilities are Kirchenwald, Nawakwa, and The Wittel Farm. They offer a wide variety of outdoor experiences in a uniquely Lutheran tradition. The Camping Corporation is one of our priorities for mission funding through the Always Being Made New Campaign.

Mission Investment Fund
Mission_Investment_Fund_of_the_ELCAWhen you invest with the Mission Investment Fund you help advance the ministry of our church, even as you save for your future. That’s because we use the money you invest to fund building and renovation loans for ELCA congregations and ministries. Not only do your investments earn you a competitive rate of return, they replace sagging church roofs, expand Sunday school classrooms, and build brand new church buildings from the ground up. Plus, MIF is capitalized and prudently managed.

Portico Benefit Services
portico-logoAs an ELCA ministry, Portico offers health, flexible spending, retirement, disability, and survivor plans to help rostered leaders and lay employees strengthen their well-being. By living well as whole people of God, we believe we can better enhance the lives of others.
