Synod Committee Structure
The Synod Council of the Lower Susquehanna Synod is its board of directors, serving as the interim legislative authority between meetings of the Synod Assembly. The Synod Council meets at least five times each year, and is composed of the four synod officers (bishop, vice-president, secretary, and treasurer) and 16 other persons, elected to three year terms by the Synod Assembly.
Committees of the Lower Susquehanna Synod are divided into ministry areas that include Committees of the Synod Council, Committees of the Ministerium, Synodical Committees for Parish Life, and Committees for Mission.
